La Sofferenza degli Innocenti sarà eseguita anche negli Stati Uniti
La sinfonia “La Sofferenza degli Innocenti”, di cui abbiamo già avuto modo di parlare in passato, sarà eseguita anche in almeno tre date americane, la prima a Boston, poi New York e infine a Chicago; altre seguiranno forse in futuro.

Una curiosità: l’immagine in apertura è la locandina degli eventi. Kiko Arguello aveva proposto come immagine una icona della Madonna, ma il comitato direttivo del Metropolitan di New York non ha accettato l’immagine, indicando che doveva essere presente la foto dell’autore della sinfonia.
Interpellato a proposito dei recenti impegni, Kiko ha detto:
“… domani alle 7 del mattino parto per Tel Aviv e poi abbiamo l’incontro dei vescovi, il Signore ci protegge. Io mi trovo senza forze, sempre terrorizzato, dopo quando arriva il momento il Signore mi dà forza in quanto lo fa Lui. Anche questa sera non volevo venire, ma l’ha fatto Lui completamente, non volevo fare il ridicolo con la mia foto e la sinfonia, ma devo obbedire, essere umile e accettare tutte le cose che Dio vuole fare con me … “
